Open your bedroom windows in the morning and shake your down bedding slightly, so that absorbed moisture can evaporate, letting the fibres breathe before covering with a bed cover. Never vacuum or beat them, as this can damage the product.WASH: We have developed our range to be suitable for large capacity domestic machine washing; however, for the best possible results and durability we recommend dry clean. If you would like to wash at home, check your machine capacity. Usually one duvet or two pillows will fit in a large-capacity machine. Use a non-biological detergent to protect the down. Do not use fabric softener. Wash at 60°C on a gentle hot wash cycle — this is the temperature that will kill dust mites. Spin at the lowest setting.DRY: Drying is very important to protect natural filling — it must be totally dry so that the down and feathers are not damaged. As large capacity machine is required and depending on your dryer’s drum size, it may take up to four or five hours to dry thoroughly. Select a hot temperature and gentle spin setting. Take the duvet or pillow out of the dryer regularly throughout the cycle, give it a shake to move around the filling, this will ensure the filling is distributed evenly, and prevent dampness in the centre of the product.
