WHAT IT IS

This leafy, vibrant green scent for him or her is a nod to cannibas cultivation in Southern California during the 90s. It blends notes of bitter grapefruit, cannabis accord and moss. 19-69 is a buzz-worthy niche fragrance brand from Sweden created by Johan Bergelin, an experienced fashion designer, photographer and product developer. He says the name stands for freedom, tolerance and counterculture.

“The inspiration includes different iconic moments of counterculture throughout history. Art, music and different cultures have also left their marks on products in terms of content, names and packaging. The different colours symbolize a rainbow which in 1969 stood for peace and freedom.”

What makes Johan’s fragrances stand out is his skill at perfectly balancing ingredients. He has a rare skill in pairing unique and interesting ingredients in complex layers that reveal themselves over time.
