WHAT IT IS

From the Collection Noire. Peppery, exhilarating, elegant.... Poivre Noir, to rediscover a taste for yourself. A perfume line created by Serge Lutens in his own image. Minimalist, straight lined, angular and uncompromising, each of these bottles with their refined style reflects the exacting nature and character of their creator. A sobriety which enhances the richness and sumptuousness of the perfumes, whose scents and colours are as numerous and as nuanced as precious stones and our personalities. In his now iconic olfactory creations, the perfumer Serge Lutens has for over 20 years been producing strong alcohols with Proustian accents. From “Féminité du bois”, to “Ambre sultan” and “La fille de Berlin”, each perfume tells their own exceptional story and has their own unique signature. Perhaps even yours?

HOW TO USE IT

Serge Lutens favours the use of premium grade raw materials of natural origin to make its fragrances, driven by the conviction that these alone can ensure full and complex evolution of the perfume on the skin. To use, apply your chosen fragrance directly onto the skin and let it sit for a few minutes. This allows the composition to take on its full character and reveal its truest, most seductive form. Serge Lutens essences always end up confessing to their deeds.

More About Hudson's Bay at Shop Midtown

We have a history of making history. HBC has been operating and excelling at what we do for hundreds of years, meaning that we’ve adapted to some pretty monumental changes since our initial charter back in 1670. (See our Heritage Site—we aren’t even kidding). We are proud to be known for our longevity and our historical significance. Our iconic point blankets, which have become a huge part of the fabric of Canada, are seen as an unofficial symbol of Canadians. Even though we’ve grown and adapted for centuries, we’re passionately looking toward the future. We’re proudly redefining an international retail experience and tackling the challenges and opportunities of a limitless, digital landscape. Diversity & Inclusion: HBC is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our Associates are empowered to lead, support one another, and make contributions that drive their teams and businesses forward – things we believe make HBC a great place to work. Each of our Associates comes to work with different experiences and backgrounds, and we believe that our diverse points of view are the pillars of HBC’s success. Our differences make us stronger and contribute to the innovative ideas that will power us into the future.
